Chesterton Montessori Application Procedure and Financial Information
Tour School – call 219-926-2359 for an appointment with Kris Conrad, our administrator.
We ask out of respect for our presently enrolled children, that you come by yourself for the 1st time, so please arrange for childcare for your own child.
There can be another time at a later date for your own child to visit.
Application form and the application fee – This form along with the fee enables your child to be put on our waiting list after our presently enrolled families make a decision to re-enroll by March 1st.
March 1st – This is the date we open enrollment to the public.
Waiting list students are now put on roster for the upcoming year.
Tuition – Each February tuition for the upcoming school year is set prior to asking families for a commitment to enroll.
Tuition Plan – When enrolling a 3 year old, your tuition plan is locked in place for the next three years. The tuition rate goes down each year, so that by the time a child is attending class almost full time in Extended Day (our Kindergarten), the tuition is at its lowest.
Advanced Deposit – An advanced deposit equal to one month’s tuition is collected in the spring from all re-enrolling families. New families are billed at the time of application, and then pay the remaining tuition in 9 monthly installments, from August through April.
Reenrollment Fee – A re-enrollment fee is collected from each returning family at the time the advance deposit is paid in the spring.
