I have over 20 years experience in Montessori early childhood. I started my Montessori journey in 1998, as an assistant at Chesterton Montessori. At that time I was a young adult just out of high school. I soon fell in love with the Montessori Method and realized this was what I was meant to do. I have my American Montessori Certification from the Montessori Teachers Academy Edison Lakes, Indiana in conjunction with Indiana University. I have a degree in Early Childhood Development from Purdue University. I have been a presenter at Purdue North Central Early Childhood conferences on Montessori Math and have taught several summer workshops on an overview of Montessori Curriculum ages 3-6.
I am a mother to three boys. My family enjoys swimming, live music, theater and geocaching. I am very excited to be returning to Chesterton Montessori School!
