My family and I moved to Chesterton in 2005 from Pennsylvania where I graduated from the University of Scranton. I joined Chesterton Montessori in 2008 after my youngest child started kindergarten. Although I started out working in toddler childcare, my heart is in the early childhood classroom where I have worked for the last 12 years. I enjoy seeing students’ faces light up when they master a challenging work, but my favorite thing about the early childhood classroom is having students ranging in age from 3 to 6. I love to watch the older children help guide the younger ones through acclimating to the classroom. Early childhood students are a joy to work with and I look forward to coming in to see my classroom family every day.
