I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself as a new  Directress at Chesterton Montessori school.

My name is Urmil Kashyap, Early Childhood Directress. I have over 5 years of teaching experience in the same age group. I got my master’s degree in Sociology from India. I am excited to be a part of Montessori school. I love to teach! I am a well-organized, highly motivated individual, who enjoys challenges in a work environment.

I grew up in India and came to America 20 years ago. My whole family lives in India, and I visit them every 2 years. I have been happily married to my husband for two decades, and I have two beautiful daughters. My older daughter is a freshman in high school, and my younger daughter is in 6th grade. My hobbies include several things, like exploring the outdoors. I also love hiking, biking, arts and crafts, and cooking.

It is my goal to combine my experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, and intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to Chesterton Montessori school.
